The Duderstadt Center at University of Michigan and the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation welcomed guests on January 7, 2026 for the opening reception of Women of the Kahn Family. The newly curated collection honored the artistic, cultural and intellectual contributions of the wives, daughters and female relatives of the renowned Detroit architect Albert Kahn. Reception guests explored photographs, writings, student artwork and family artifacts that illuminated long overlooked events and stories. The exhibit was presented during January 2026 as part of the Duderstadt Center’s 30th‑anniversary celebration.
